The United States arm of luxury brand Lexus has launched two new trims for the 2023 ES luxury sedan in the form of the F Sport Design and F Sport Handling trims.
Additionally, Toyota’s luxury marque reported that it also ES benefits from a new multimedia system.
The F Sport Design grade of the 2023 Lexus ES builds upon the model’s Premium Package. It adds a 19-inch split-five-spoke alloy wheels with Gloss Black finish and F Sport exterior styling, including a unique front bumper, grille surround, and rear spoiler.
Available features for the 2023 Lexus ES F Sport Design are a Mark Levinson sound system, a head-up display, a power rear sunshade, the panorama roof, triple beam LED headlamps, and a power open/close trunk with kick sensor.
Meanwhile, the 2023 Lexus ES F Sport Handling variant offers more than just sporty looks. It builds on the exterior features of the abovementioned F Sport Design grade and comes standard with Sport+ and Custom Drive modes, Intuitive Parking Assist, F Sport-tuned Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS), a heated F Sport steering wheel and Hadori aluminum trim, aluminum pedals, and black headliner.
Available features on the 2023 Lexus ES F Sport Handling trim are a Mark Levinson 17-speaker, 1,800-watt PurePlay Surround Sound; a head-up display; and a power rear sunshade. Also available are exterior appointments namely the premium triple-beam LED headlamps and the power open/close trunk with kick sensor.
Both F Sport trims allow would-be owners the option of choosing from various interior finishes which include Palomino NuLuxe with Open-Pore Brown Walnut trim and Black NuLuxe with Open-Pore Black accents. The F Sport Handling grade offers more with model-exclusive interior finishes which are Black, Circuit Red, and White — all three are paired exclusively with Hadori Aluminum trim.
Lexus also introduced the new state-of-the-art Lexus Interface multimedia system, with a higher-resolution touchscreen display, to the 2023 ES lineup. Standard is an eight-inch display with an optional 12.3-inch unit.
It comes with the latest display and features a higher resolution with smartphone-like, anti-glare technology. Users can interact with the system through intuitive touch and voice activation controls.
Price of the 2023 Lexus ES range starts from US$42,490 ( around P2.502 million).
