Lexus has presented the 2024 LC 500 Convertible that comes with mild updates including a Bespoke Build option for customers wanting a more exclusive ride.
New to the 2024 Lexus LC 500 Convertible is the set of 21-inch forged alloy wheels that were taken from the LC 500h. Additionally, all-new 21-inch forged alloy wheels with gloss black metallic coating and machined finish also becomes available on all LC builds.
Lexus also gave the LC 500 Convertible four new colors for its soft-top roof. Two of the aforementioned are available on standard models (Black and Sand) while the other two can only be had through the Bespoke Build option for the luxury convertible (Dark Rose and Blue).
When closing or opening the soft-top roof, an animated display can be seen on the automobile’s multi-information display.
Per Lexus, premium magnesium and aluminum components were used for the roof links and support structure of the LC 500 Convertible. The roof material itself — Lexus pointed out — was carefully selected and manufactured to help ensure optimal tension, minimize wrinkling, and improve sound insulation.
Two new exterior finishes are also now available for the Lexus LC 500 Convertible: Ultrasonic Blue Mica 2.0 and Copper Crest.
Inside, the 2024 Lexus LC 500 Convertible gets a new 12.3-inch high-definition touchscreen infotainment system. Moreover, the Convertible Intuitive Parking Assist and Panoramic View Monitor features now come standard for the LC 5000 Convertible.
And speaking of standard features, the 2024 Lexus LC 500 Convertible now comes standard with the Lexus Safety System 2.5+, which brings a suite of key active safety and convenience features to the vehicle such as a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, an all-speed dynamic radar cruise control, and lane departure alert with steering assist to name a few.
Finally, Lexus introduced the Bespoke Build option to the LC 500 Convertible model. The said service provides further customization including a set of 21-inch forged alloy wheels with an all-black finish, dark chrome-finished trim, as well as a carbon scuff plate and neck heater.
Additionally, clients of Toyota’s luxury division can choose from two new exclusive interior finishes: White and Blue.
Those who opted for the Bespoke Build option will get a unique interior badge and included certificate of authenticity printed on Japanese washi paper and signed and stamped by LC Chief Engineer Yasushi Muto and Lexus Vice President of Marketing Vinay Shahani.
The 2024 Lexus LC 500 Convertible gets a starting price of US$106,350 (approximately P5.934 million) and is built at the Motomachi Plant in Toyota City, Japan.
