Lexus has released teaser photos of the GX sport utility vehicle (SUV) signaling its forthcoming arrival.
Toyota’s luxury division, captioned close-up shots of the automobile’s front and rear end with “the all-new 2024 Lexus GX, coming soon.”
Looking at the photos, the 2024 Lexus GX looks like it is being touted as an opulent outdoor SUV. The pictures show it with a fair amount of dirt and rain, sending the message that it is capable of taking on the beaten path and that it could possibly compete with nameplates from Jeep and Land Rover.
Globally, the Lexus GX is currently being offered with a 4.6-liter V8 mated to a six-speed transmission that makes 301 horsepower. The four-wheel drive SUV comes in three variants: the GX, GC Premium, and GX Luxury.
Its luxurious features come in the form of a 10.3-inch high-resolution touchscreen infotainment system, 10-way power-adjustable front seats, semi-aniline interior leather trims, and a Mark Levinson 17-speaker premium surround sound system.
Locally, it is only available in a single variant with a 4.6-liter V8 that makes 292 horses.
We’re not sure which of the aforementioned features will be retained or replaced as Lexus is still to reveal the full specifications of the GX SUV.
To note, Lexus also teased the TX recently, which is potentially based on Toyota’s Grand Highlander SUV.
