Lexus teases LBX ahead of launch

Lexus is teasing the arrival of yet another automobile, one dubbed the LBX.

Details about the LBX are not clear yet as Toyota’s luxury division only posted a close-up photo of its front end and a picture in the dark revealing its rear end.

Word on the web says that the upcoming Lexus LBX could be an upmarket model of the Toyota Yaris and that it could sport a hybrid powertrain.

That’s because unlike Lexus’ all-electric models that have the letter “Z” in their name — like the RZ — the teased model does not have one.

Further, Lexus just unveiled a multi-purpose vehicle, the LM, so it is possible that the luxury car brand might target another segment, such as small hatchbacks.

All theories will be put to rest on June 5 as Lexus will finally drop the drapes off the LBX at a special event in Milan, Italy.
