Leyte-based firm gets another Dongfeng dump truck
The local arm of Dongfeng Motor announced that a Leyte-based construction firm has purchased another dump truck offering following its earlier purchase.
In a statement, Pilipinas Autogroup, Inc. (PilipinasAuto) revealed that JELM Construction acquired a Dongfeng K23W 10-Wheeler Dump Truck. The dealer which facilitated the purchase was Dongfeng Elite Motor-Driven Tacloban (DEMT).
PilipinasAuto shared that the company ordered the said model following its first purchase of a Dongfeng K37F 12-Wheeler Dump Truck. The said acquisition is expected to meet the growing needs of the company.
Powered by a Euro 5-compliant, 11-liter, six-cylinder Renault common rail diesel engine; the Dongfeng K23W 10-Wheeler Dump Truck’s power mill has the capacity to produce up to 385hp and 1,800 Nm of pulling power. This engine is paired to a 12-speed direct drive transmission.
PilipinasAuto said that the Dongfeng K23W 10-Wheeler Dump Truck is covered with a warranty of one year or 100,000 kilometers — whichever comes first.
Attending the official turnover were DEMT’s Service Manager Jerry Sudario, Sales Consultant Lynsie Dolino and Sales Administrator Victoria Sia as well as JELM Construction’s Marvin Mercado.
In late 2020, PilipinasAuto delivered four units of its 10-Wheeler Dump Truck model to One Myrna Construction, another company based in Tacloban, Leyte to boost the company’s productivity particularly in its projects within the Eastern Visayas region.
Aside from the abovementioned trucks, the Dongfeng brand also offers locally the Captain E, N, D9 trucks, cargo trucks, tractor heads, cement mixer, and dump trucks, mini bus, modern PUV 2 and modern PUV 3.
