The
Toyota Rush,
Toyota Motor Philippines' (TMP)
entry into the subcompact SUV--even though it's really an MPV since it doesn't have four-wheel-drive--segment, has yet to make landfall in the country but the sales professionals of its dealerships are already busy selling it on various social media platforms, complete with the prices and colors for its three variants--
less than a month after TMP announced that it is now accepting reservations for the vehicle.
According to the posts from the sales professionals of Toyota Commonwealth and Toyota North EDSA, the three Toyota Rush variants and their respective prices are the entry-level
E MT at
PHP948,000, the mid-range
E AT at
PHP988,000, and the range-topping
G AT at
PHP1.07 million.
Powering the Toyota Rush is a
1.5-liter Dual VVT-i engine, the same one that propels the
Toyota Avanza, which is good for
102 hp and
136 Nm of torque. Paired to depending on the variant is either a
five-speed manual transmission or a
four-speed automatic.
As for the available color choices, these are Bordeaux, Dark Red Mica Metallic, White, Bronze Mica Metallic, Silver Mica Metallic, and Black Metallic.
It would be nice to get a good, long look at the actual car but it seems we'll have to wait for at least a month before we actually get to see it in the sheet metal.
