The Volkswagen Lamando is the brand’s entry to the local compact sedan segment. It made for an appealing option for many Filipino car buyers who are looking for a dependable and capable sedan to drive in and out of the city.

Powering the Lamando is a four-cylinder, in-line turbocharged fuel-injected gasoline engine that is mated to a seven-speed DSG transmission that sends power to the front wheels.

Outside, it features a black grille with chrome accents paired with LED lamps and DRLs. Depending on the variant, the Lamando can come with or without automatic headlights as well as leaving home and coming home functions. The front foglamp of VW’s compact sedan has a corner light function.

One of the sportiest colors on the palette, Misano Red not only gives the Lamando an aggressive look, but this deep crimson hue harks back to the rich sporting legacy of the Misano World Circuit.

It’s sure not a Ferrari, but the Lamando sure has more horses than your average compact sedan. It generates a maximum power output of 147hp and a maximum torque of 250Nm.

Mangan Gray

Confident and composed, the Lamando gives off a self-assuring aura in this shade of gray. The chrome accents and the dark trims on the front fascia blend well in this monochromatic hue. This paint also complements the dark dome of the Lamando where the sunroof is located.

Polar White

Although statistics show that white vehicles are the least involved in accidents, VW still fitted the Lamando with a slew of safety features to keep you safeguarded while on the road.

Included is a combination of airbags for the driver and the front passenger, an electronic stabilization program with brake assistant, ABS, electronic differential lock, electronic parking brake with auto-hold, anti-slip regulation, and parking sensors front and back.

Coriandolo

A mix between brown and gold, Coriandolo brings out the sophisticated looks of the Lamando.

Well, in terms of classy interior amenities, VW’s compact sedan offers no shortages. Featured are leather seats and steering wheels, front center armrests, Dot-Matrix ambient lighting, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and the aforementioned sunroof.

Dark Bronze

A color that represents maturity, dark bronze exudes experience and growth.

This exterior paint works well with the interior design of the Lamando. There are plenty of straight lines with a simple and clean-looking infotainment system that measures either eight inches or 9.2 inches depending on the variant.

Perfect for tito car owners who still keep CD copies of their favorite albums, Lamando’s infotainment tech offers a CD player in addition to the radio, MP3, Aux-in, USB, and SD card connectivity features.
