LTFRB Opens New PUV Modern Jeepney Route Linking Manila to Quezon City
The presence of the Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program of the government is slowly but surely making its mark in different key locations in the Philippines. Recently, it has added to its list two of the busiest cities in the country.
The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) last October 29 opened a new route linking the City of Manila and Quezon City via modern, safe, environment-friendly, and comfortable Public Utility Vehicles.
Pangkalahatang Sanggunian Manila & Suburbs Drivers Association (Pasang-Masda) will initially be operating 15 units having the Quezon City hall to Manila City hall route and vice-versa.
The new vehicles boast of being spacious, having curb-side entrance, panoramic windows, provision of persons with disabilities, with amenities such as air-condition, LED TV, free wi-fi, automated fare system, gps, CCTV, dash cam, and most of all, Euro 4-compliant engine.
