Maserati creates limited-run Grecale in collaboration with Barbie

Maserati has started a collaboration with Mattel Incorporated’s Barbie, resulting in the creation of a limited-edition Grecale.

The Barbie Maserati Grecale was designed under the automotive marque’s Fuoriserie customization program, which allows owners to express their passion and creativity in accordance with their singular style and taste.

Further, the Barbie Maserati Grecale was “selected by Barbie to match her multi-faceted lifestyle ranging from a business meeting to a glamorous event."

The brand's sport utility vehicle— a Trofeo version — is covered in Barbie's iconic pink hue with fine acid-yellow lines that are inspired by the Trident’s racing heritage. Its exteriors, adorned with the Barbie logo, are sealed with an iridescent topcoat that reveals an incredible rainbow effect.

Meanwhile, the vehicle's sleek black interior features full-leather seats, dashboards, carpets, and doors – accented with pink stitching – as well as branded headrests with the unique “B” badge.

Powering the vehicle is a 530-hp V6 Nettuno engine.

According to House of Trident, the Barbie Maserati Grecale will only be available in two custom units around the world with the first one being unveiled as one of the 2022 Neiman Marcus Fantasy Gifts at the luxury retailer’s holiday launch soirée in Los Angeles. For the United States exclusive, a part of the sales price of the bespoke edition will benefit the Barbie Dream Gap Project – the Barbie brand’s ongoing global initiative that partners with charities to help provide equal opportunities and remove barriers for girls.

Additional details regarding the second custom unit will be announced next year.
