Maserati presents limited-edition track weapon, Project24
Maserati has announced the limited-edition, track-only Project24. According to the Italian luxury car brand, Project24 raises the brand’s unlimited performance to a new level of adrenaline on the track.

Per Maserati, only 62 units of the Project24 race car will be built.Project24 inherits the specifications of the Maserati MC20 and enhances it with advanced technical innovations.
Under the hood is the Maserati Nettuno engine. The V6 twin-turbo power plant is equipped with the Maserati Twin Combustion (MTC) Twin Spark with TJI double combustion control and a dry sump system. The 740hp gasoline mill is mated to a six-speed sequential racing gearbox with paddle shifters.
Stopping power comes from Brembo CCMR ventilated racing brakes with racing calipers and bespoke brake cooling. These are fitted under bespoke forged 18-inch aluminum rims with center lock system fittings wrapped in slick tires.
Suspension-wise, Project24 comes with a double-wishbone setup with semi-virtual steering axis, adjustable racing dampers, and adjustable front and rear anti-roll bars.
Performance of the Project24 is improved thanks to an all-new, aerodynamically designed carbon-fiber bodywork with a multi-adjustable front and rear wing. They are complemented by the car’s ultra-light carbon fiber central monocoque.
Based on the brand’s obsession with lightness, the target weight of the new Maserati vehicle will be below 1,250kg. The perfect combination of output and lightness results in an astonishing vehicle with a power-to-weight ratio of approximately 1.69 kg/hp.
The interior boasts track-oriented appointments such as racing seats, an adjustable racing pedal box, an adjustable steering column, a six-point racing safety belt, and a multi-functional carbon-fiber steering wheel with built-in display.
According to Maserati, Project24 will also have optional interior features which include a rear-view camera display, telemetry recording, an in-car camera for video recording, a driving performance optimization display, and a tire pressure monitoring system.
Its FIA-approved features are comprised of an FIA-homologated FT3 120-liter fuel tank, FIA-spec fire extinguisher, FIA-homologated safety roll cage, and FIA-approved rain light.
The Maserati Project24 will only be limited to 62 units. Price and release date are yet to be announced.
