Maxus Philippines recently conducted a “family test drive” event for the G50, inviting some members of the motoring press as well as local content creators.
In a statement, Maxus Philippines said that the purpose of the event was to highlight the advantages of the vehicle, which they shared, is good for those who are shopping for a multi-purpose vehicle "that performs well on any occasion."
The event allowed the participants to experience what it’s like inside the variants of the Maxus G50 namely the Premium, Elite, Pro, and Comfort — in various road conditions.
Maxus Philippines also said that on their way to Subic, participants enjoyed the spacious eight-passenger seating capacity, “as well as the power and fuel efficiency of the turbocharged gasoline engine.”
The company said that the available cruise control complemented the vehicle's maneuverability and stability especially during cornering.

The vehicle was also used to showcase the safety technologies in the model’s Premium and Elite trims during a drive activity in a controlled area.
Priced at P948,000, the Maxus G50 Comfort (which has a 1.3-liter engine paired to a manual slushbox) is the latest addition to the G50 roster. The other G50 variants are offered at the following prices:
All Maxus G50 variants are packaged with five VehiCare Programs — five-year warranty or 100,000 kilometers (whichever comes first); five-year free 24/7 emergency roadside assistance; reliable parts management system and parts stock for up to five months; onsite and virtual product support with home service and pick-up and delivery; and maintenance costs that are 40 percent lower compared to other brands for the first five years.
Relatedly, Maxus Philippines will soon expand to 12 dealerships come the third quarter of 2022.
