Inside, the stylish truck are seats finished in either leather or fabric, a urethane or leather steering wheel, either a seven-inch or nine-inch infotainment system, and likewise, either manual or automatic air conditioning.
Power comes from a large 3.0-liter diesel mill mated to either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic.
When it comes to safety, the Mazda BT-50 packs features like ABS, electronic stability control, lane departure warning, autonomous emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and forward-collision warning.
The Mazda BT-50 is offered locally in three variants. The price range is from P1,390,000 to P1,790,000.
The Mitsubishi Strada is another segment contender. This pickup truck brings in an aggressive look thanks to its redesigned front fascia flanked by LED DRLs and headlights with halogen front fog lamps. The rear also features LED lighting with fog lamps. Depending on the variant, the Mitsubishi Strada rides on either 17 or 18-inch wheels.
Inside, this pickup truck packs fabric or leather seats, a urethane or leather steering wheel, and a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
The Mitsubishi Strada packs a 2.4-liter diesel engine mated to a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic.
To keep drivers and passengers safe, the Mitsubishi Strada comes with active stability and traction control, a forward collision mitigation system, an ultrasonic misacceleration system, hill descent and hill assist control, rear cross-traffic alert, and blind-spot warning among others.
The Mitsubishi Strada is offered in six variants with prices ranging from P998,000 to P1,764,000.
The Maxus T60 is definitely not going to be everybody’s cup of joe or tea. The trucks we’ve featured in this list target various customer segments and the same can be said with the Maxus T60.
