Mazda Philippines is set to add the CX-90 in its model lineup within the year.
Mazda Philippines President Steven Tan made the announcement during the recent launch of the CX-60. However, no specific date was shared yet.
Though not much has been shared during the presser, it can be seen in pictures at that web the exterior of Mazda Philippines' future flagship offering sports similar exterior features to that of the CX-60 — with the major difference between the two is their respective overall dimensions.
Inside the cabin, the forthcoming Mazda CX-90 will likely be fitted with leather-wrapped steering wheel, shift knob, and seats; black door panels; as well as an eight-way power-adjustable driver's seat with power lumbar support.
The infotainment system that will be slapped in the Philippine-spec Mazda CX-90 might be 10.25 or 12.3 inches in size with Android Auto and Apple Carplay connectivity (comparable to what is being marketed in the United States [US>). Meanwhile, its instrument cluster could be seven or 12.5 inches wide.
Further, the Philippine-bound model might have the following technological features: three-zone automatic climate control air-conditioning system with pollen filter, power windows with one-touch feature, speed sensing power door locks, Mazda Radar Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go system, advanced keyless entry system and push button start, among others.
In addition, the upcoming full-sized sport utility vehicle (SUV) will likely be powered by a mild-hybrid e-Skyactiv-G 3.3-liter turbo inline powertrain matched to an eight-speed automatic transmission — similar to the nameplate’s US version.
