Mazda equips US-market CX-90 with 340-hp engine
Mazda announced that it equipped the United States (US) market CX-90 sport utility vehicle (SUV) with a 3.3-liter, inline-six, e-Skyactiv Turbo engine, which produces 340 horsepower.

On top of its 340hp output, the turbocharged powerplant is capable of putting out more than 500Nm of pulling power, making it a highly capable vehicle.
Mazda revealed that the aforementioned engine was developed specifically for the brand’s all-new rear-biased all-wheel drive layout that supports a performance-focused experience. Additionally, Kinematic Posture Control (KPC), first introduced on the MX-5 Miata, is standard on all CX-90 models and will help maintain Mazda's signature driving dynamics to the three-row crossover SUV.
