Mazda Philippines has announced the availability of the Mazda MX-5 30th Anniversary Edition.
With a hue to suit the equally-colorful history of the iconic sports car, the two-door open-top is covered with the exclusive Racing Orange and unique set of commemorative fixtures.
But don’t get to complacent if you're planning to get one, as the Mazda MX-5 30th Anniversary Edition will only be available in limited number worldwide.
The Mazda MX-5 30th Anniversary Edition only has 3,000 examples worldwide, and--take note--30 of this roadster has been alloted for the Philippines.
Mazda's retractable fastback, will be available in six-speed automatic and manual Skyactiv-Drive transmissions.
To match the perfect hue for the roadster, splashes of orange in the front Brembo and rear factory brake calipers are fitted in the Mazda MX-5 30th Anniversary Edition.
Complementing it are Racing Orange trimmings also found in the door panels and dashboard accents to join the special orange-lined Recaro sports seats for its interiors.
It sits on 17-inch lightweight forged aluminum Rays wheels, donning a special engraving on each wheel to commemorate the MX-5 30th Anniversary Edition.
Bilstein dampers are fitted in all four corners for the manual transmission model.
The pocket rocket is can dish out 181 horsepower thanks to its 2.0-liter Skyactiv-G engine found in the current updated MX-5.
To match the premium feel, the Mazda MX-5 30th Anniversary Edition has the Mazda Connect system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, together with a nine-speaker Bose Premium sound system.
The Mazda MX-5 30th Anniversary Edition is pegged at PHP2.990 million.
