McLaren Automotive develops ‘Platinum Jubilee’ paint to mark Queen's 70-year reign
McLaren announced that it has created a new paint color dubbed the “Platinum Jubilee.” The special hue, alongside a similarly special badge, was made to honor Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s 70-year reign.

The paint and the badge were revealed on a one-off example of the McLaren Artura.The color of the paint and the badge has been matched to the materials used in a special badge created by McLaren Special Operations (MSO), McLaren’s in-house bespoke division.
“It has been an honor for MSO to create a new platinum paint in celebration of Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee this year. This special paint, which will be available for customers to select for years to come, will be a fitting tribute to mark this historic milestone.” McLaren Automotive McLaren Special Operations Managing Director Ansar Ali.
Both features were revealed on a one-off example of the McLaren Artura, the brand’s groundbreaking new high-performance hybrid supercar, today at the MTC.
