McLaren Manila to put up service center

The Philippine distributor of McLaren vehicles announced that it is set to put up a service center for the brand’s units in the Philippines.

During a media briefing, DBPhil Motorsports, Inc. President Marc Tagle said that the McLaren Manila service center will be established along Chino Roces Avenue in Makati City by 2023.

Tagle noted that currently, the company was able to sell 10 McLaren units in the country.

Further, Tagle said that it will soon accept gray market McLaren units for servicing. However, owners of the aforementioned vehicles will have to pay an enrollment fee to get their vehicles checked and repaired.

Relatedly, Tagle also revealed that the soon-to-rise facility shall also be utilized as a temporary McLaren showroom.

According to him, the service center shall be used momentarily as a display area, sharing that the company is planning to create a permanent, state-of-the-art facility within Bonifacio Global City in the next three to four years.
