Mercedes-AMG goes full-electric with the EQS 53 4Matic+. The luxurious sedan is the first battery-electric AMG production model and is based on the Mercedes-EQ architecture for luxury and executive-class vehicles.

Powering the new EQS 53 4Matic+ is a performance-oriented drive concept with two motors, one at the front and one at the rear. Each of the motors features a fully-variable AMG Performance 4Matic+ all-wheel drive, which optimally transmits the drive power to the wheels in all driving conditions.
The standard version of this powertrain setup puts out 658 horses and 950Nm of torque while those who opt to get theirs with the AMG Dynamic Plus package can bump up the power output to 761 horses and 1,0210Nm of almost instantaneous torque.

Our customers can also look forward to a dynamic and emotional driving experience in this area. We ensure this with AMG-specific solutions, particularly when it comes to the drive system, suspension, brakes, and, above all, sound,” commented Mercedes‑AMG GmbH Chief Technical Officer Jochen Hermann.
Prospective buyers can now order the new Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4MATIC+ at prices starting at €152,546.10 from authorized Mercedes-Benz dealers.
