The Mercedes-AMG E-Scooter is made in cooperation with Micro Mobility, a Swiss company.
Powered by a 500-watt electric motor, the Mercedes-AMG E-Scooter has quick acceleration speed that peaks at 20 kilometers per hour. It also has a 9.6-ampere battery that offers up to 40 kilometers of all-electric range on a single charge.
Additionally, it comes with a twist grip — pretty much like those found on motorcycles — instead of the thumb throttle that most electric scooters have.
Safety-wise, the Mercedes-AMG comes with features like a wide deck with anti-slip coating, 20-centimeter wheels that boast sturdy rubber material, as well as individually adjustable suspension at the front and at the rear.
Other notable features include an ergonomically shaped handlebar with a telescopic function; an integrated bell that allows users to alert others to their presence in city traffic; and a center display that provides information on speed, charging status, and riding mode.
The Mercedes-AMG E-Scooter also boasts modern connectivity features. Using Bluetooth technology, the electric scooter can connect to its owners’ smartphones via the Micro App where users can check valuable information about speed, distance, journey time, or battery charge status.
Being designed with the so-called “last-mile” transportation in mind, the Mercedes-AMG E-Scooter features an intuitive foot-operated folding mechanism and includes foldable handles. On that note, owners can easily fit the electric scooter inside their cars or even carry it on public transport as it only weighs 14.7 kilograms.
Mercedes-AMG is yet to reveal the pricing, launch date, and market availability of its electric scooter.
