Mercedes-AMG to unveil new roadster on Oct. 28
The high-performance subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz has announced that the newest edition of the brand’s legendary roadster will make its global premiere on Thursday, October 28, at 4 p.m. CEST.
In March, Mercedes-Benz announced that the Mercedes-AMG SL was on its final winter development drive. The eighth-gen model undertook its winter testing in Sweden and its public road trials on the German motorway, A81 Autobahn.
The new Mercedes-AMG SL will feature a 2+2-seater layout and an all-wheel-drive setup. Further high-tech components sharpen the dynamic profile as do comfort characteristics says Mercedes-Benz.
Presenting the Mercedes-AMG SL will be Mercedes-AMG GmbH CEO, Philipp Schiemer and Daimler AG Chief Design Officer, Gorden Wagener.
The world premiere can be followed live at Mercedes-Benz’s website and, according to Mercedes-Benz, will then be available as video on demand.
