Mercedes-Benz announces AMG EQS sedan pricing in US
The American arm of Mercedes-Benz has announced the US pricing of the all-electric AMG EQS sedan. According to Mercedes-Benz USA, pricing for the EQS sedan starts at US$147,500, of which the so-called destination and delivery charge of US$1,050 is not included.

The US will get two variants: Exclusive and Pinnacle.“The all-new AMG EQS represents a new era in the performance segment, providing innovative electric mobility without sacrificing the sporty and agile driving dynamics characteristic of Mercedes-AMG. To further enhance the experience for customers, Mercedes-Benz USA will offer AMG EQS customers complimentary 30-minute DC Fast charging with the Electrify America Network for 24-months from account activation, and two years of free maintenance,” said Mercedes-Benz in a press release.
The US will receive two curated trims of the EQS sedan: Exclusive and Pinnacle. Both of which build upon the generous standard equipment offered in the AMG EQS starting with the MBUX Hyperscreen (with three displays merged seamlessly under a single 56-inch curved glass surface), distinctive displays in the instrument cluster, as well as the multimedia display and standard augmented reality head-up display.
Additionally, the AMG EQS also benefits from the AMG Performance 4MATIC+ variable all-wheel-drive system, the standard AMG Ride Control+ suspension with adaptive adjustable damping, and a suite of driver-assistance features that improve its performance and driving feel overall.
Other notable features customers can expect from the six-digit sticker price are heated and ventilated front seats, leather seating surfaces, active multi-contour front seats with enhanced massage and comfort headrests, wireless smartphone integration, wireless charging in the front, and Burmester Surround Sound System with 3D Sound, EQ Sound Experience and Sound Personalization.
The AMG EQS sedan arrives in US dealerships in late spring (March to June) of 2022.
