Auto Nation Group, Inc (ANG) has officially made available the seventh-generation Mercedes-Benz S-Class to the country.
Unveiled over Mercedes-Benz Philippines’ official Facebook and YouTube page, the latest offering is said to “shape the next generation of contemporary and individual mobility with innovations that focus on people.”
ANG Chief Operating Officer Frankie Ang said that the latest version of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class “has undergone the most extensive refinement process” in the history of the luxury car manufacturer.
“The brand did to the new S-Class what it does best — putting the customers in the center. It can now be experienced with all the senses, seeing, feeling, hearing, and smelling – while offering impressive innovations in the areas of driver assistance, protection, and interaction.
Compared to its predecessor, the latest Mercedes-Benz S-Class now has a long bonnet, short overhang, long wheelbase, flowing C-Pillar and balanced rear overhang. It also has a long wheelbase and AMG Design line — highlighted by the 21-inch AMG multi-spoke wheels.
Overall, the latest exterior design continues to exude the brand’s distinct design philosophy of "sensual purity" — in a contemporary way.
The digital light headlights sport a “three-dot design”. With each headlamp fitted with more than a million pixels to ensure optimal lighting. Seen at the rear are two horizontal tail lamps with 3D-like display, sequential indicator lamps, two visible exhaust tail tips and a rear diffuser.
The latest version of the highly regarded saloon offers door handles that automatically extend when you approach the car and retracts when the doors are locked.
The all-new Mercedes Benz S-Class is equipped with electronically adjustable seats in the rear that extend the leg rest and provide a relaxing massage even while in transit. All seats are covered in Nappa leather with diamond patterns.
The all-new Benz Mercedes S-Class gives passengers at the back the Mercedes-Benz User Experience, thanks to its high-end rear seat entertainment system and two fully integrated 11.6-inch touch displays. These are matched to the 15-speaker Burmester 3D surround sound system.
In addition, it has a refrigerated compartment located in the center arm rest, and Active Ambient Lighting for occupant’s convenience.
While the car is built for the rear passenger’s enjoyment and comfort, the front occupants have their own set of entertaining features starting with the 12.3-inch OLED touchscreen at the center of the S-Class’ cockpit.
Also, the driver’s settings can be saved and accessed via fingerprint scan.
Powering the all-new S-Class is a three-liter, in-line six-cylinder engine with 4Matic All-Wheel Drive system with EQ Boost mild-hybrid system. The powertrain enables this car to dish out 435hp and 520Nm torque. This is mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission and controlled by Direct Select Lever.
Moreover, the all-new Mercedes-Benz S-Class offers five driving modes with the Dynamic Select Switch and has an Airmatic air suspension system.
Further, the all-new Mercedes-Benz S-Class has Active Distance Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Active Brake Assist, Active Parking Assist, and more for a semi-autonomous driving experience. Aside from that, Mercedes-Benz placed intelligent rear seat airbags for frontal impact, complementing the Pre-Safe Impulse system.
The in-cabin protection for the all-new Mercedes-Benz S-Class is on another level as the air can be filtered, ionized, and infused with fragrance.
The all-new Mercedes-Benz S-Class is available for viewing in all Mercedes-Benz Dealerships at the following dealerships:
Offered solely (for now) in a single S 500 4Matic Long Wheelbase variant, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class is priced at P17.89 million.
Auto Nation Group assured that strict health and safety protocols are being implemented in the said facilities.
Back in April, the Mercedes-Benz Philippines already started taking pre-orders for the luxury saloon.
