Mercedes-Benz Philippines is on the aggressive path upon welcoming the Chinese New Year as it launches the new E-Class today.
The newest iteration of the aforementioned sedan (which will be revealed via Mercedes-Benz Philippines’ official Facebook and Youtube pages at 5 p.m. today) is said to "have undergone a comprehensive update, bringing with it new intelligent features, enhanced dynamics, and fresh appearance."
Auto Nation Group (ANG) Chief Operating Officer Frankie Ang shared that the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class offers refined sportiness, impressive design, and dynamism.
The new Mercedes-Benz E-Class is equipped with a 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder gasoline engine that can deliver as much as 197 horses and 320Nm. This is matched to a 9G-tronic 9-speed automatic transmission that swiftly changes gears with low engine revs for better fuel efficiency and manageable noise levels.
The abovementioned premium sedan from the Three-Pointed Star marque’s local arm also features a revised grille on a new front end design and sports a radiator trim with diamond pins in chrome with black glossy inserts. The redesigned LED headlamps as well as the two-piece tail lamps are all on LED.
The new Mercedes-Benz E-Class comes in a sporty AMG Line body styling, and sits on 19-inch five-twin spoke light alloy wheels painted in tantalite gray with a high-sheen finish.
On the inside, the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class offers dual 12.3-inch displays that are arranged side-by-side for a wider appearance. Its infotainment system now has the latest generation of the MBUX that are Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatible.
The multifunction sports steering wheel is covered in Nappa leather.
Further, the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class is loaded with safety innovations such as the Pre-Safe system, Attention Assist, Active Brake Assist, Urban Guard vehicle protection that has an anti-theft alarm system and tow-away protection that enables it to detect changes with the movement of the vehicle.
Offered in a sole E 200 variant, the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class is priced at P5.39 million.
