Mercedes-Benz PH to enter EV market before end of 2023

Mercedees-Benz's electric vehicle offerings outside of the country include those from the EQB, EQE, and EQS family.During the official introduction of the new Mercedes-Benz GLC in the country, Auto Nation Group Inc. Chief Operating Officer Francis Jonathan Ang said the premium car brand will enter the EV segment in a big way.
“Mercedes-Benz is a global brand, they have made the commitment to fully electrify their entire product lineup by 2030. And what that means for us is that we will enter the market in a big way, and please expect that before we end the year,” Ang was quoted saying.
As to what cars Mercedes-Benz will be bringing into the country, Ang stated that the company will be introducing “all of the relevant models that we see people in the Philippines are demanding.”
To note, Mercedes-Benz’s global EV offerings include the EQB sport utility vehicles (SUV), the EQE sedans, the EQE SUVs, and the EQS sedans.
