As if the Mercedes AMG GT wasn't cool enough, the German automotive brand has recently decided to up the ante by updating the already awesome sports car and releasing the all new Mercedes Benz AMG GT Stealth Edition.
With enhancements for the 2021 model year, the Mercedes-AMG GT two-door model now boasts 523hp: 54 more horsepower than before. It will also reach 0-100kmh 0.2s faster, in only 3.7 seconds.
The list of standard equipment for the AMG GT also grows, as the car now comes equipped with AMG RIDE CONTROL suspension with adaptive damping adjustment, electronic limited-slip differential on the rear axle, AMG high-performance composite braking system and red-painted brake calipers. Additional enhancements include the new lithium-ion starter battery and the "RACE" drive program setting. The new 2021 AMG GT Coupe and Roadster will arrive at US dealers in early 2021.
Aside from the 2021 model update, the "Stealth Edition" also joins the AMG GT lineup for both coupe and roadster AMG GT variants. This new special edition wraps the car in all black, and comes with the AMG Exterior Night Package, blacked out brake calipers, the AMG radiator grille finished in dark chrome, headlamps with black elements, and mixed-size tires with 19-inch matte black Y-spoke wheels on the front, and 20-inch wheels on the rear.
Other features of the "Stealth Edition" include a carbon-fiber roof with dark- tinted areas on the coupe, and a black soft top on the roadster. The choice of exterior body paint finishes include black as standard, in addition to obsidian black metallic, selenite grey metallic or designo graphite grey magno as options.
The blacked out theme also continues the inside of the "Stealth Edition," giving the cabin a sporty, exclusive look. Other equipment features include AMG Performance bucket seats, AMG Interior Night Package, AMG steering wheel finished in DINAMICA microfiber with blacked out steering wheel spokes and shift paddles, upholstery in exclusive black nappa leather with special diamond quilting, black topstitching and trim elements in black piano lacquer (optionally in carbon fiber/black piano lacquer).
A unique badge in the center console also denotes this special model, giving it an enhanced sense of rarity.
In the Philippines, Mercedes Benz offers the AMG GT in one variant only, a 4.0 liter Twin Turbo V8. It comes with features such as cruise control, automatic climate controls, heated leather seats, and traction control. The AMG GT starts at PHP8.92million.
