Mercedes-Benz announced that it will unveil the new GLC next month. The upcoming SUV is set to make its global debut via a virtual event on Mercedes’ online platform — Mercedes me.
“The digital world premiere is based on a completely new film concept. It provides an entertaining look behind the scenes of digital product launches,” said Mercedes-Bens in a press release.
Per the German automotive brand, the GLC’s upcoming premiere via the marque’s online platform will allow viewers to experience the highlights of the new GLC as an observer of the preparations for the shoot on the film set — with a passionate but slightly confused director, an overzealous team, and a smart Formula 1 driver.
The GLC nameplate has been a global market leader in its segment and is one of the most dynamic and successful models in the Stuttgart-based automaker’s lineup. According to Mercedes-Benz, the new generation GLC SUV “will continue to strengthen this position with excellent on and off-road features, a fully digitalized cockpit, and extensive standard equipment.”
Blending an expressive, sporty design with a luxurious interior, the new GLC will come with excellent off-road properties thanks to the standard-fit 4MATIC all-wheel drive and special driving programs as well as the versatile MBUX infotainment system.
The Mercedes-Benz GLC’s world premiere will happen on Wednesday, June 1, 2022.
