MG PH Finishes 2019 Strong in Sales, Expansion
After acquiring from its previous distributor, MG Philippines, now under The Covenant Car Company Inc., has represented itself well in the local automotive market back in 2019 and their continuous progress shows that they are on the right track.
Starting with sales, the MG brand welcomed 2020 after reaching a 5,085-unit sales output (or over 400 units per month)—led by the MG ZS Crossover SUV, which generated over half of MG Philippines’ total vehicle sales in 2019.
The sales figures came from a TCCCI, making them ranked within Top 10 automotive brands for 2019.
It is also last when the latest official distributor of MG brought to local shores three more all-new vehicles in 2019, namely: RX5 SUV; MG 6 Fastback sedan; and the brand’s latest offering, the MG 5 sedan.
Aside from growth in sales, they have also expanded in reach with the now 24 MG dealerships nationwide.
These are: MG Alabang, MG Araneta-Cubao, MG BF Parañaque, MG Commonwealth, MG EDSA Centris, MG Makati, MG Marikina, MG Pasig, MG Shaw, MG Quezon Avenue, MG Batangas, MG Cabanatuan, MG Carmona, MG Dasmariñas, MG Lipa, MG Pampanga, MG. Sta. Rosa, MG Cebu-Mandaue, MG Bacolod, MG Iloilo, MG Tacloban, Mg Cagayan De Oro, MG Davao, and MG Zamboanga.
The expansion of the MG Philippines nationwide dealership network will likewise continue in 2020, with a minimum of seven (7) new MG dealerships opening in key locations nationwide.
MG Philippines’ main aftersales complements were promptly activated in 2019, and these will continue on in the year ahead, providing owners with a pleasant MG ownership experience.
These include a 5-year or 100,000km warranty (whichever comes first), and one-year free periodic maintenance service (PMS) for worry-free assurance. Aside from these, MG owners can also download the My MG mobile app (Android, via Google Play) which allows them to easily schedule vehicle servicing appointments, make parts inquiries, and locate MG dealerships near them from the convenience of their smartphones.
They can also use the app to book a visit from a Mobile Garage service caravan that provides MG owners with vehicle home service for major technical issues. MG HERO Services, on the other hand, provides 24/7 roadside support through the MG Philippines hotline (+632 5328 4664).
