MIAS 2019: Kia PH Reels in Kia Stinger, All-New Kia Forte
Kia Philippines made its presence felt this year, this time bringing in the 'second' and 'third box' by bringing the much-awaited Kia Stinger and the all-new Kia Forte at the 2019 Manila International Auto Show.
During the product launch, Kia Philippines President Manny Aligada revealed the two with the chief lighting the latest powerhouse for the Korean car brand.
Gone are the days that Kia has been associated with conservative vehicles with introduction of the Stinger.

Powered by a 3.3-liter twin-turbo V6, the fastback sedan Stinger has the capacity to dish out 365 horses. And since it's an upright sedan, car aficionados can get the approval of the boss (aka spouse), since it can carry a decent family of four.
The looks already stings but it is the sound system that burns. The Stinger can blast your favorite tunes with is Harman Kardon speakers, which can ususally be found in top-spec luxury vehicles.

Not lagging behind the fun and excitement is the 1.6-liter engine-propelled all-new Kia Forte. Offered in two powertrain variants (turbo and natural-aspirated), the Forte is only available in automatic transmission.
The non-turbo variant, with an engine that's mated to a six-speed automatic, can dish out the 126 horsepower and 155 Nm of torque.
The turbocharged Forte, on the other hand, has a maximum output of 201 hp and 265 Nm.
Aligada was joyful and proud during the the event in saying that "Kia is Back!"
In closing the program, he said that while he only said earlier in the year that they will unbox three vehicles, there is a 'fourth box' to be revealed within the year.
Let's wait and see what more has Kia in store for 2019.
