Changan Motor Philippines, Inc. (CMPI) is highlighting its 100,000-kilometer endurance test CS35 Plus at the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) 2023.
The aforementioned example withstood the test of being driven from north to south of the country, enduring various road and weather conditions and racking up the average five years of usage (approximately 20,000 kilometers a year) in just seven months’ time.
“We put up this exhibit to present to the public a ‘body of proof’ to the power and durability of the CS35 Plus,” CMPI President and Chief Executive Officer Maria Fe Perez-Agudo said.
“It’s like driving non-stop from Laoag City to Zamboanga City 29 and a half times,” she added.
CMPI shared the following the punishing drive and given the recommended preventive maintenance service (PMS), the CS35 Plus came out in “peak roadworthy condition.”
"Major components, like the engine, suspension, air conditioning system and electrical system, did not require replacing. Only the consumable PMS parts were changed — brake pads, oil, tires, wiper blades, and drive belt," the company noted.
“Proof of durability strengthens the Changan customer's promise of lasting safety,” Agudo said. “The CS35 Plus’ outstanding performance confirms Changan’s commitment to constantly improve its automotive technology so that the quality and performance of every model that it rolls out keeps on getting better each time. This is tangible proof that Changan takes care of you and your car.”
The CS35 Plus endurance unit can be seen at the 100,000-km Zone in the Changan Pavilion “Beyond the Vision” display at the Manila International Auto Show up to tomorrow (April 16).
Aside from the Changan CS35 Plus endurance unit, the company also highlighted the Uni-T and Uni-K lifestyle crossovers that were introduced in late last year, alongside the CS55 Plus, and Alsvin.
