For those planning to visit the exhibit tomorrow, here’s a quick look at what automotive brands will be participating in the event.

    Foton

Welcoming event-goers is the commercial vehicle brand Foton. The returning marque will have two booths in the show: one will be outside near the driveway area and one inside the building.

Foton still has not yet revealed which vehicles will be on display, but it is possible that the recently-launched Harabas Miler and the Tornado EV will be there.

    JAC

JAC will also be participating in this year’s MIAS event and will have its booth sitting next to Foton’s outside of the building.

Like Foton, JAC has not announced which vehicles it will display at the expo, nor did the company confirm if it will launch any new automobiles.

    Ford

Ford will be one of the major brands that will be present for tomorrow’s event. The Blue Oval brand has also confirmed that it will reveal the next-generation Territory tomorrow — just check the brand’s official Facebook page.

Alongside the next-gen Ford Territory, fans expect to see the two next-generation trucks, which are the Ranger and the Everest.

Ford will be the first brand to stage a program in the event, which will take place at 10 a.m.

    Subaru

Subaru will once again make an appearance at MIAS, with something fun for its fans.

Stunt driver Russ Swift will show his skills and perform during the event. Head on to the “Subaru Russ Swift Stunt Area” today for a spectacle to remember.

Following Ford, Subaru will open its program at 10:30 a.m.

    Peugeot

The Astara-led Lion brand will also be one of the brands to look out for this year. It will be unveiling the e-2008Peugeot’s official entry to the local electric vehicle (EV) segment — making it the first Stellantis-owned marque to launch the conglomerate’s new generation of electric vehicles in the Philippines.

Visit Peugeot’s booth today at 11 a.m. to witness the brand’s program.

    GAC

GAC, short for Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd., will also be attending this year’s expo. We’re not exactly sure which vehicles will be on display, but we’re putting our money on the new GS8 and the Empowthe brand’s two new offerings.

    Program starts at 11:30 a.m.

    Changan

One of the brands that put out a significant number of models last year was Changan. The Chinese carmaker has announced that it will foray into the 2023 MIAS event with a solid lineup, which includes nameplates like the Alsvin, UNi-K, Uni-T, CS35 Plus, and CS55 Plus.

Be on the lookout at Changan’s booth by 11:55 a.m. to see the brand’s program.

    Mitsubishi

The three-diamond brand is among those who will be revealing a new model for 2023 during the auto show. Word on the web is that the Japanese carmaker’s local arm will showcase a limited-edition Mitsubishi Xpander Cross model.

Make sure to be at Mitsubishi’s booth by 1 p.m.

    Chery

Chery Philippines will also be at MIAS 2023. Thanks to various teasers revealed by the brand, many believe that Chery will unveil a new EV today.

There’s still no confirmation as to what nameplate will get the electrified treatment but many believe it could possibly be a Tiggo.

To see if it’s true, check out Chery’s booth by 1:30 p.m. today.

    Jetour

The newcomer to the Philippine automotive area looks to prove it has what it takes to dance with the big brands by being present in MIAS 2023.

Making its debut at the automotive expo, Jetour will likely bring the Dashing, the Ice Cream EV, and the X70.

Check them out at Jetour’s booth by 2 p.m.

    Nissan

Fans of the famed Japanese brand can also expect Nissan to be in this year’s MIAS event. However, the automotive firm has not disclosed whether or not it will reveal any new models for its Filipino followers.

Nevertheless, it is expected that Nissan will flaunt show staples like the GT-R and the Leaf. Newcomers, such as the Livina and the Sport trim of the Terra, are also anticipated by audiences.

Nissan will stage a program by 2:30 p.m.

    MG

Not to be left out is MG Philippines. The brand quickly rose in popularity thanks to its offerings that boast European styling at reasonable prices.

Recently, the carmaker released the sporty MG GT. Looking to shake things up in the event, MG might be bringing its latest offering to MIAS 2023.

    Visit the company’s booth by 3 p.m.

    Hyundai

Equipped with a refreshed lineup, Hyundai Philipines looks to wow MIAS 2023 attendees with models like the Creta, Stargazer, Staria, and Ioniq 5.

Further, the Ioniq 6 is also expected to make an appearance.

Although not confirmed, we might once again see a display of the EVs showcasing its advanced features like the vehicle-to-load function.

Drop by the booth at 3:30 p.m.

    Geely

Sojitz G Auto Philippines (SGAP) will be one of the Chinese brands to return to the automotive show.

Last year, Geely Philippines wowed MIAS attendees when it displayed the Coolray Sport Special Edition, which is why fans might be expecting another special model to be at the booth of the Chinese car brand.

    Great Wall Motors Philippines

Great Wall Motors Philippines (GWM) is looking to get more attention by taking part in this year’s MIAS. The carmaker has recently unleashed the Cannon pickup truck in the country, looking to appeal to Filipino car buyers looking for another alternative.

That said, we can expect the GWM Cannon to be on display at today's event.

    BYD

Also wanting a slice of the 2023 MIAS pie is BYD Philippines. The brand has banked on its affordable yet reliable EVs and might showcase nameplates like the Dolphin and the Tang EV.
