Peugeot
The Astara-led Lion brand will also be one of the brands to look out for this year. It will be unveiling the e-2008 — Peugeot’s official entry to the local electric vehicle (EV) segment — making it the first Stellantis-owned marque to launch the conglomerate’s new generation of electric vehicles in the Philippines.

GAC
GAC, short for Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd., will also be attending this year’s expo. We’re not exactly sure which vehicles will be on display, but we’re putting our money on the new GS8 and the Empow — the brand’s two new offerings.

Changan
One of the brands that put out a significant number of models last year was Changan. The Chinese carmaker has announced that it will foray into the 2023 MIAS event with a solid lineup, which includes nameplates like the Alsvin, UNi-K, Uni-T, CS35 Plus, and CS55 Plus.
Be on the lookout at Changan’s booth by 11:55 a.m. to see the brand’s program.
Mitsubishi
The three-diamond brand is among those who will be revealing a new model for 2023 during the auto show. Word on the web is that the Japanese carmaker’s local arm will showcase a limited-edition Mitsubishi Xpander Cross model.
Make sure to be at Mitsubishi’s booth by 1 p.m.
Chery
Chery Philippines will also be at MIAS 2023. Thanks to various teasers revealed by the brand, many believe that Chery will unveil a new EV today.
There’s still no confirmation as to what nameplate will get the electrified treatment but many believe it could possibly be a Tiggo.

Jetour
The newcomer to the Philippine automotive area looks to prove it has what it takes to dance with the big brands by being present in MIAS 2023.
Making its debut at the automotive expo, Jetour will likely bring the Dashing, the Ice Cream EV, and the X70.

Fans of the famed Japanese brand can also expect Nissan to be in this year’s MIAS event. However, the automotive firm has not disclosed whether or not it will reveal any new models for its Filipino followers.
Nevertheless, it is expected that Nissan will flaunt show staples like the GT-R and the Leaf. Newcomers, such as the Livina and the Sport trim of the Terra, are also anticipated by audiences.
Nissan will stage a program by 2:30 p.m.
MG
Not to be left out is MG Philippines. The brand quickly rose in popularity thanks to its offerings that boast European styling at reasonable prices.
Recently, the carmaker released the sporty MG GT. Looking to shake things up in the event, MG might be bringing its latest offering to MIAS 2023.

Sojitz G Auto Philippines (SGAP) will be one of the Chinese brands to return to the automotive show.
Last year, Geely Philippines wowed MIAS attendees when it displayed the Coolray Sport Special Edition, which is why fans might be expecting another special model to be at the booth of the Chinese car brand.

Great Wall Motors Philippines (GWM) is looking to get more attention by taking part in this year’s MIAS. The carmaker has recently unleashed the Cannon pickup truck in the country, looking to appeal to Filipino car buyers looking for another alternative.
