Great Wall Motor Philippines (GWM) attended the 2023 Manila International Automotive Show (MIAS) and flaunted its latest offering, the Cannon pickup truck.
The GWM Cannon boasts a bold and strong design, drawing attention from event-goers. At the front is its large chrome grille flanked by automatic halogen headlamps, daytime running lamps, and fog lamps. To its side are body-colored side mirrors, clean-looking lines, and a set of 17-inch wheels. The rear of the truck features a third brake lamp, rear fog lamps, a pair of next-generation Ford Ranger-like taillamps, and a hydraulic-assisted tailgate.
Inside, the GWM Cannon features leather seats, a leather steering wheel, a seven-inch instrument cluster, and a nine-inch infotainment system.
Power comes from a 2.0-liter diesel mill mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. It makes 161 horsepower and 400 Newton-meters of torque.
Additionally, the GWM Cannon offers a suite of safety and driver-assist features, such as an anti-lock brake system with electronic brake-force distribution, roll movement intervention, lane change assist lane departure assist, and a 360-degree camera, to name a few.
The brand and the pick-up truck will be on display at MIAS 2023 until Sunday, April 16.
