This year’s Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) is a new milestone for Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) as it is the first time that the brand’s new arm joined the four-day event. It can be recalled that the HMPH officially took over Hyundai's passenger car distributorship last August.
Aside from the announcement that the Ioniq 6 will officially be retailed by midyear, HMPH also displayed the upcoming variant of its Stargazer, which is one of the brand’s best-selling nameplates.
HMPH said that the premium six-seater option of the Hyundai Stargazer is set to come out before the year ends. However, the company said that it is already open for pre-order at the exhibit.
To note, the Hyundai Stargazer — lauded for its futuristic looks and features —is currently available as a seven-seater.
Its notable features include tire pressure monitoring system, safe exit warning, and forward collision-avoidance assist.
Further, the Hyundai Stargazer offers the largest wheelbase among its competitors in the segment. Such design will surely complement the second-row captain seats that will be offered soon as a new configuration.
It was only late last year when HMPH introduced the nameplate to the local market.
Further, the HMPH Managing Director Cecil Capacete shared its long-term mission and plans on redefining mobility in the country.
“In 2023, one of our main objectives is to increase our customer satisfaction index. We shall do so by providing existing and new Hyundai owners the aftersales care and expertise they deserve. Then, continue expanding our reach by growing our network to 45 outlets and further strengthening our product line-up,” Capacete said.
