The Philippine distributor of Morris Garages has introduced a new trim for the MG ZS at the Manila International Auto Show 2023.
Per MG Philippines, the ZS Nite Edition is the nameplate’s bold take on its best-selling model.
As the name suggests, the MG ZS Nite Edition sports blacked-out appointments on the exterior, including a newly-colored Stardust grille, trim, and alloy wheels.
In addition, the MG ZS Nite Edition also comes with enhancements on the technological features such as the 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Carplay and Android Auto; a reversing camera; six cabin speakers; and a power liftgate.
The MG ZS Nite Edition wears P1,018,888-price tag.
Further, the company also publicly displayed the 2023 MG GT. The said model made its local debut in February 2023.
The newly-launched model is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine mated to a seven-speed Twin Clutch Sportronic (TST) Transmission with paddle shifters. The aforementioned system allows the vehicle to go 0-100 kilometers per hour in 8.5 seconds.
For its exterior, the MG GT wears aggressive body accent lines and a swooping fastback profile. Providing additional zing to the car are the three-dimensional digital flaming grille, LED racetrack tail lamps cut through the darkness, a ducktail accent on the trunk and a split tailpipe.
The MG GT is available in two variants: the naturally-aspirated Alpha option (P1,015,888), and the turbocharged Sport (P1,193,888) option.
