Motor Image Pilipinas Inc. (MIPI) has launched the latest iteration of the Subaru Evoltis at the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) 2023..
The facelifted version of the six-star marque’s full-sized sport utility vehicle sports an updated exterior as seen in the new grille design, front and rear fascia that is similar to the design language of the WRX and Impreza, as well as its new 20-inch wheels.
Inside, customers can enjoy Nappa leather seats and an 11.6-inch infotainment system that is wireless Apple Carplay and wireless Android Auto compatible. The display also incorporates dual-function X-Mode and a host of other vehicle settings.
Drivers get the Subaru’s Driver Monitoring System (DMS) to monitor signs of driver fatigue or inattention and the multi-view monitor that dishes out 360-degree bird’s-eye view of the area around the new Evoltis to help the driver maneuver safely while reversing or parking.
Moreover, the occupants can enjoy crisp music from the 14 speakers of Harman Kardon’s GreenEdge premium audio system.
But what MIPI takes pride in the new Subaru Evoltis is that it comes with the latest EyeSight technology. Per MIPI, the newly-revealed model features the enhanced EyeSight 4.0 as standard, making it the first in the brand’s lineup locally to be fitted with such. The innovation now has an additional wide-angle monocular camera paired with its cutting-edge stereo cameras, allowing the vehicle to see more at traffic junctions and making the vehicle safer for all road users.
Subaru has also added the autonomous emergency steering and lane departure prevention in the new Evoltis. In addition, the vehicle has an enhanced pre-collision braking system, to complement other safety features like blind spot detection and rear cross traffic alert.
Powering the new Evoltis is still the 2.4-liter turbocharged Boxer engine and Symmetrical all-wheel drive system.
The pricing of the new Subaru Evoltis, which can be viewed at the four-day event until tomorrow (April 16) is at P3.78 million.
