MIAS 2024: Here’s what to expect
The Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) 2024 is the 19th edition of the much-awaited annual motoring expo in the country.

Worldbex Services International organized MIAS 2024.It’s also the first time the event will be held in two venues simultaneously (World Trade Center Manila and SMX Convention Center), so enthusiasts will have plenty of ground to cover when attending the conference.
On that note, we have compiled a list of what eventgoers can expect when visiting this year’s automotive spectacle.
Handful of brands
A handful of car brands will be attending the event, so those looking to drop by can expect to see numerous displays from various companies. Some of these include industry staples like Mitsubishi, Nissan, Subaru, Suzuki, Chevrolet, Peugeot, and Hyundai.
Others like BAIC (Beijing Automotive Industry Holding Company), BAW (Beijing Automotive Works), Bestune, Changan, Chery, DAF, Dongfeng, Foton, GAC (Guangzhou Automobile Group Company Limited), GWM (Great Wall Motors), Hongqi, Hycan, JAC (Jianghuai Automobile Company Limited), Jetour, JMC (Jiangling Motors Corporation), Lynk and Co, Kinglong, MG (Morris Garages), Omoda and Jaecoo, Seres, and Weichai are also going to be present.
JAC, JMC, GAC, Peugeot
Astara is looking to make an outstanding showing at MIAS 2024 with the launch of the JMC Grand Avenue and Vigus as well as the introduction of the JAC JS4, JS6, JS8 Pro, T8 Pro and T9. In addition, the Ytterby EV will also be previewed.
The GAC Emkoo Hybrid, M8, and M6 Pro will also be showcased at the event. Further, the Peugeot 3008 and 5008 will be in the spotlight.
MG
The MG One and Cyberster from SAIC Motor Philippines will be showcased at MIAS 2024. Moreover, upcoming electric cars and internal combustion engine-powered vehicles from the Chinese manufacturer, which are expected to enter the local auto arena, are also expected to be there.
BAIC, Lynk and Co
United Asia Automotive Group Incorporated will present its roster of nameplates from newly-acquired brands. BAIC will display the X5 Verve, X7 Grandeza, Series 40 Ragnar, B60 Beaumont, and Series 80 wagon while Lynk and Co will deliver a one-two punch with the 01 and 06.
Omoda and Jaecoo
Chinese brands Omoda and Jaecoo are also poised to present their offerings. The former will display the Omoda 5 and E5 while the latter is eager to put forward the Jaecoo J7 and J8.
Subaru
Motor Image Pilipinas, the exclusive distributor of Subaru cars in the country, will reveal the Subaru Outback XT Touring Eyesight at MIAS 2024. It was previewed not too long ago at the brand’s Alabang dealership opening.
Hycan
Electric vehicle (EV) brand Hycan will bring out its full lineup, which consists of the V09, Z03, and A06 Plus.
Hyundai
On top of bringing cars from its stable, Hyundai Motor Philippines will launch its high-performance motorsports sub-brand N. A souped-up Elantra will be unleashed during the event.
Suzuki, Mitsubishi
Suzuki and Mitsubishi will have their best food forward as they are expected present their offerings coupled with special promotions for attendees.
MIAS 2024 will open under the theme “Bridging the Future” and will have various segments to excite car enthusiasts as well as industry players. A free shuttle service will be provided to allow eventgoers to move between the two sites.
