MIAS WIRED: Hyundai PH to launch four models in 2021
The local distributor of Korean brand Hyundai announced during the much-awaited premier virtual motor show in Asia that they will be launching four new models in 2021.
Based on their presentation at the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) Wired, Hyundai Asia Resources Inc. (HARI) revealed that they will be introducing the new cars, dubbed as the Fab Four, by next year.
Without revealing their nameplates, HARI said that the vehicles will consist of “two facelifted SUVs, an all-new SUV under a nameplate of Filipino favorite, and the all-time favorite family van.”
While HARI is mum, we dug deeper as to what these forthcoming offerings will be as seen in the silhouette shown in their program.
For the all-new SUV, we are thinking that it could be the all-new Hyundai Tucson. The grille is the key takeaway as it also fitted with Parametric Hidden Lights.
For the facelifted models, we could be looking at an updated Santa Fe as it shows a wide grille, commonly seen in the new models.
Joining the updated roster could be the Hyundai Kona. In the silhouette shown, the model has that shiny part on the lower front bumper.
Lastly, since there is only a sole nameplate for which the Korean carmaker was first known for, HARI has revealed that a new Hyundai Starex will be in next year.
While we know that there will be four new offerings, we have to wait for the respective official reveal next year.
