Mini beefs up US lineup with Brick Lane Edition

Mini USA just announced its latest special-edition model, the Mini Brick Lane Edition. According to the American arm of the British compact car brand, the Brick Lane Edition will be available in Cooper S Hardtop 2 Door and 4 Door models.

Separating it from other exclusively designed models in Mini USA’s already robust special-edition lineup is an exterior inspired London’s home of street art, the Heart of the East End. It boasts a White Silver Metallic body, a roof painted in Soul Blue, black mirror caps, and chrome trims. The hood also features bold graphics in Frozen Blue, Mint, and Soul Blue, which Mini says, “characterizes the traditional lines of the bricks and modern colors of the art scene of Brick Lane.”

Also included are exterior accessories such as side scuttle inlays, C-pillar decals, and wheel center caps in the Brick Lane motif. Brick Lane Edition models ride on 17-inch Tentacle Spoke Black wheels wrapped in all-season tires.

Inside, the new special-edition model features Carbon Black Cross Punch Leather sports seats with heated front seats and a heated Nappa Leather steering wheel. The cabin is lined with piano black trims with an anthracite headliner.

Other convenience features include a universal garage-door opener, a Harman/Kardon premium sound system, and dual-zone automatic climate control.

A Touchscreen Navigation Plus Package adds features like Mini Assist eCall, Mini Head-Up Display, TeleServices, advanced real-time traffic information, concierge services, remote services, Apple CarPlay, wireless charging, and a dynamic digital instrument cluster.

Mini’s US customers can choose to have the Brick Lane Edition with either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed Sport Dual Clutch Transmission at no added cost.

The Hardtop 2 Door variant is priced at US$35,675 while the Hardtop 4 Door variant is priced at US$36,675. The 2022 Mini Brick Lane Edition is expected to be available in US dealers in March.
