The iconic Mini Resolute Edition has made its way to the Philippine market, Mini Asia and British United Automobiles Inc. (BUAI) announced.
Per Mini’s local arm, the Mini Resolute Edition is now available in the country for the Mini Cooper S three-door version, allowing would-be owners to drive a ride that boasts individuality, traditional style, self-confidence, and unmistakable charisma.
Exterior design features include both a traditional-style color scheme and an elimination of chrome elements, which will be a matter of course on future Mini models for reasons of sustainability.
Its Rebel Green exterior paint — previously available only for the Mini John Cooper Works — offers a sporty look. The sage finish is complemented by a Pepper White roof and matching Pepper White exterior mirror caps.
Signature design features are finished in exclusive Resolute Bronze. These cover the headlight surrounds, radiator grille and rear lights, side scuttles on the front side panels, handles of the doors and tailgate, air intakes in the front apron, and the fuel filler cap.
The brand logos, model lettering, the inner frame of the radiator grille, the tailpipe trim of the exhaust system, and the horizontal radiator grille strut are finished in Piano Black. In addition, there is also a black strip running around the lower edge of the windows.
Further exterior appointments include the bold “RESOLUTE” lettering, as well as 18-inch alloy wheels, in Pulse Spoke Black design with run-flat tires.
Inside, the PH-market Mini Resolute comes with seats in Mini Yours Leather Lounge in Carbon Black with particularly striking stitching and piping. The Nappa sports leather steering wheel bears an edition emblem on the lower spoke. The roofliner of the Mini Resolute Edition, on the other hand, is finished in anthracite.
It sports an 8.8-inch infotainment system that sends high-quality audio to 12 high-performance speakers.
Under the hood is a 1.9-liter engine with Mini TwinPower Turbo Technology mated to a seven-speed Steptronic Sport transmission.
The Mini 3-Door Resolute Edition — priced at P3.3 million — can be viewed at Mini Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Mini Pampanga, and Mini Cebu.
