MIPI shares joy at Hospicio de San Jose

Motor Image Pilipinas Incorporated (MIPI) made a heartwarming visit to the Hospicio De San Jose in Manila to share blessings to those living in the welfare institution.

In a statement, the exclusive distributor of the Subaru vehicles in the country shared that it brought the company’s safety ambassador plush toys and apparel for the residents of the establishment. Aside from that, the company also handed over a check to the leadership of the organization to help support the needs of its young people.

Per MIPI, the monetary gift — which amounted to P139,000 — was generated from the ticket sales of the Subaru x Russ Swift Rustle and Hustle stunt shows at the Manila International Auto Show 2023.

“We would like to thank Mr. Glenn Tan and Subaru Philippines for the generosity and continuous support to Hospicio de San Jose. The gifts and monetary proceeds will be of great help for us here as this would allow us to continue our commitment of providing integral development to vulnerable and excluded sectors of society,” Sister Martha Gamolo was quoted as saying.

For his part, Tan Chong International Limited Deputy Chairman and Managing Director Glenn Tan said that he is delighted in extending aid to the organization, saying that Hospicio de San Jose’s mission is aligned the company’s values of being reliable and responsible in all our business practices as they “aim to provide care, support, a sense of belonging and empowerment to both our employees and customers, while fostering hope for a brighter future.”

“I hope this initiative reinforces and reminds the beneficiaries that they are not just recipients of gift-giving but part of something bigger - our Tan Chong community,” Tan added.
