Mitsubishi Jan.-Sep. 2023 sales nearly hit 250K mark
Mitsubishi Motors Corporation announced that it sold 247,845 vehicles from January-September 2023 — nearly hitting the 250,000 mark.

Compared to the same time period last year, Mitsubishi's sales grew by 8.7 percent.In contrast with the numbers recorded by the Japanese carmaker in the same time period last year (227,979 units), Mitsubishi’s 2023 sales figure in the last three quarters reflected an 8.7-percent increase.
When broken down, Mitsubishi noted that its local sales improved by 8.3 percent from 70,522 to 76,423 cars sold in Japan. Likewise, its overseas sales jumped from 157,457 to 171,422 automobiles, which reflected an 8.8-percent increase.
For the month of September alone, Mitsubishi’s grand total was 31,548 vehicles. Of which, 11,684 cars were sold in Japan and 19,834 automobiles were handed over to the brand’s overseas customers.
There was no mention of what models were Mitsubishi’s sales drivers for the abovementioned months. Locally, the brand’s offerings include nameplates such as the Mirage hatchback and Mirage G4, the Montero Sport, and the Strada (which will soon be replaced by the Triton early next year).
