Mitsubishi Motors PH to boost reach in Region 1 with upcoming Ilocos Sur dealer opening

A new Mitsubishi dealership shall soon open in Ilocos Sur to tap more customers in the region.

Recently, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) broke ground in Bantay, Ilocos Sur for its soon-to-rise facility in partnership with Northpoint Alliance Motor Corporation (NAMCO).

In a statement, Japanese automaker’s distributor in the country said that the upcoming establishment serves as the second dealership under NAMCO in Region 1 — the first one operating in Laoag, Ilocos Norte.

Per MMPC, the soon-to-open Mitsubishi facility dealership in Bantay shall be ready to give customers in Ilocos Sur and nearby areas better access to its vehicles, services, and after-sales care.

The aforementioned expansion, the company added, reflects its partner’s “commitment to continuous growth” and the marque’s “dedication to reaching out to more Filipinos.”

“With this expansion, we hope to strengthen our ties with the community and contribute to the economic progress of the region,” MMPC Executive Vice President for Corporate Division Tomoyasu Moriya was quoted as saying.

Expected to be fully operational within the first quarter of 2025, the upcoming Mitsubishi dealership will feature spacious showroom, service bays, and genuine spare parts and accessories shop.

Spearheading the groundbreaking rites for the forthcoming establishment were Morita and NAMCO President Johanson Chua. The two were joined by Ilocos Sur Governor Jeremias Singson and Ilocos Vice Governor Ryan Singson.

“This new dealership is a testament to our belief in the strength of the Mitsubishi brand and our commitment to providing top-notch service to our patrons,” Chua noted.
