To celebrate the nameplate’s 100,000-unit sales achievement in the country, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has launched a limited-edition trim of the Strada pick-up truck offering.
Called the Strada GLS S-Limited, the pick-up truck’s special edition version will only have 75 units locally to serve as an iconic mark to the model’s record in the Philippines.
To differentiate the limited-run variety from the rest of the offered variants, the Mitsubishi Strada GLS S-Limited comes with a front bumper, step board, and gloss black rear bumper with red accents, a tailgate spoiler, headlights and daytime running lights that are both on LED.
It also comes with the “01 Design” with special two-tone silver and red decal racing stripe accents that gives the vehicle an even more dynamic look.
While it has its notable differences in terms of aesthetics, the Mitsubishi Strada GLS S-Limited enjoys the same convenience and features found on the current model.
The S-Limited comes in black leather seats with red stitching (with eight-way power adjust for the driver's seat), as well as, door trims, steering wheel, hand brake lever and shift knob that are all in leather with red stitching.
We are very excited to achieve yet another milestone for Mitsubishi Motors in the Philippines. This one, like the S-limited, is a special one. This is a milestone that wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our loyal customers. Since offering the Mitsubishi pick-up 32 years ago, there have been more than 100,000 customers who have appreciated the Strada,” MMPC President and Chief Executive Officer Takeshi Hara was quoted as saying.
“Having been a brand that’s dedicated to listen and deliver to the needs of Filipinos, we are more than grateful for the support and for keeping Mitsubishi Motors part of their lives. Modern, tough, reliable, like this capable Pick-up, is what the brand stands for,” he added.
Wearing a White Diamond body color, the Mitsubishi Strada GLS S-limited is priced at P1.496 million.
Moreover, the vehicle’s details are available at the MMPC’s dealerships nationwide or at the company’s official website.
To note, the Mitsubishi Strada GLS has been updated in May 2022.
