Mitsubishi PH resumes annual blood donation drive
After two years of being suspended due to the pandemic, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) recently resumed its blood donation drive last February 15.

MMPC received a diploma of service from PRC in 2019 because of the aforementioned move, which is considered as an integral part of the company’s corporate social responsibility campaign.
According to MMPC, a total of 40,500ml of blood was collected from 90 employees and personnel who volunteered in the recent blood donation drive. The program was staged at the company’s headquarters in Laguna. MMPC shared that a succeeding run is already in the pipeline.
“As the first and only car manufacturer in the Philippines having DOLE’s Safety Seal, MMPC ensured that infection precautions were implemented in addition to its usual protocols to protect the health of all those that were present,” the company said in a statement.
“Here at Mitsubishi Motors, we take pride in the engineering of our cars that have kept generations of owners and their families safe. We are equally passionate, whenever there is a chance for us to help save more lives outside the walls of automotive innovation,” MMPC Corporate Division Executive Vice President Takehisa Usami, for his part, said.
“One blood donor can help save more than one Filipino, just imagine what we can achieve collectively. Our team members share this desire and want to inspire more to do the same, through their local hospitals or Philippine Red Cross centers,” he added.
