Mitsubishi PH retails limited-run Xpander Cross Outdoor Edition

A limited-edition version of the Xpander Cross has been introduced in the Philippines.

Dubbed the Xpander Cross Outdoor Edition, the latest variant only has 300 units to be sold in the local market starting this month — with a retail price of P1.363 million.

Embracing a sport utility vehicle character in a multi-purpose vehicle body, the Mitsubishi Xpander Cross Outdoor Edition comes with accessories that is meant rough roads. Among its new appointments are the tailgate spoiler, tailgate garnish, mud guard, and rear bumper protector.

To make it distinct over the over Xpander Cross units — the newly-launched iteration is made available in Green Bronze Metallic body color option.

“With the Mitsubishi Xpander Cross Outdoor Edition, you can redefine your family's outdoor adventures, embracing a lifestyle that is active, adventurous, and uniquely yours. Whether it's a spontaneous weekend camping trip or a planned family expedition, this vehicle is designed to accommodate your active family lifestyle,” Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) said in a statement.

It can be recalled that MMPC launched the spruced-up Mitsubishi Xpander Cross last January. The said vehicle — just like the previous version — is equipped with a 1.5-liter Mitsubishi Innovative Valve Timing Electronic Control system, double overhead cam 16-valve engine. It is paired with a four-speed automatic gearbox.

During the launch, the pricing of the Mitsubishi Xpander Cross already ranges from P1.328 million to P1.353 million.

Mitsubishi-Ogawa collaboration

Meanwhile, Mitsubishi Motors has partnered with Ogawa to further showcase the lifestyle that the Xpander Cross Outdoor Edition exudes.

The exclusive Ogawa gears and items include:

• Side tarp tent
• Two camping chairs with travel case
• Mesh table (adjustable height) with carrying bag

All the aforementioned Ogawa accessories are highly functional, compact and easy to deploy for the convenience and enjoyment of the family during outdoor activities.
