MMPC Taralets Pinas

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has launched a new initiative aimed at celebrating the Filipino spirit of adventure and make every journey better with Mitsubishi vehicles.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • What is the MMPC's goal in the Taralets Pinas campo?

According to MMPC its aim in launching Taralets Pinas is to celebrate the Filipino spirit of adventure and make every journey better with Mitsubishi vehicles.
  • What are some of MMPC's adventure-capable vehicles?

MMPC's adventure-capable vehicles include the Mitsubishi Montero Sport, Triton, and Xpander Cross Outdoor Edition.
  • Dubbed "Taralets Pinas", the said campaign also looks to inspire Filipinos to rediscover the hidden gems and immerse in the rich culture of the country while driving their favorite Mitsubishi car.

Through the newest initiative, the company is eyeing to provide Filipinos with ideal rides and experiences to explore, discover, and create lasting memories.

“The campaign is a celebration of MMPC’s 60th anniversary and its unwavering commitment to making life better for Filipinos by supporting and cultivating their passion for travel and exploration,” MMPC wrote in a press statement.

To support the initiative, MMPC also launched an interactive website where Mitsubishi vehicle owners can check out information about destinations, road trip itineraries, as well as food trip tips. Moreover, those dropping by the website are also encouraged to share their travel stories, experiences, and photos.

According to MMPC, its Taralets Pinas initiative aligns with the brand’s “Life Made Better” tagline. Further, the local wing of the Japanese automotive firm believes that in offering Filipinos dependable and comfortable vehicles packed with functional and safety features, the company empowers them to take on new adventures, rediscover nature’s hidden beauty, and experience the full joy of life on the road.

Sure enough, MMPC’s offerings are capable of allowing their owners to take on adventures of their own.

For example, the Mitsubishi Montero Sport is an SUV equipped with a 2.4-liter clean diesel engine married to either a six-speed manual gearbox or an eight-speed automatic transmission with sports mode. The top-of-the-line model also gets the carmaker’s Super Select four-wheel-drive drivetrain, making it a perfect family carrier that can go almost anywhere.

Likewise, MMPC is set to formally launch the Mitsubishi Triton in the country soon. The nameplate that will replace the Strada is no simple pickup truck. It won the Asia Cross Country Rally in 2022 where it finished first and in 2023 where it finished third overall.

The ever-popular Xpander Cross was also offered in an adventure-ready package via the limited-run Outdoor Edition variant. The said trim got a new limited edition Green Bronze Metallic color, genuine accessories such as mudguards and a rear bumper protector, and exclusive camping gear from Ogawa including tarp tents and foldable camping chairs, among others.

“We encourage Filipinos to pack their bags, fuel up their Mitsubishi vehicles, and embark on their own Taralets Pinas adventure. We can’t wait to see the amazing places you’ll visit and the incredible experiences you’ll create with Mitsubishi Motors,” said MMPC President and Chief Executive Officer Takeshi Hara.

The Mitsubishi Taralets Pinas campaign will feature the following provinces in the coming weeks: Bacolod, Guimaras, Ilo-ilo, Pampanga, South Cotabato, Davao, Cebu, Kalinga, Baguio, Bontoc, Siquijor.
