The Ralliart badging for the Philippine market will be unveiled at the 8th Philippine International Motor Show. What models are expected to don the Ralliart designs at the event?
The Mitsubishi models that are expected to carry the Ralliart design upgrades are the Strada and the Montero Sport. The Japanese automotive marque’s local distributor made the announcement in a teaser video posted on its official Facebook page.
“Our countdown begins! Let’s revisit significant moments when this legendary brand took the automotive world by storm. See you at the Philippine International Motor Show this September 15-18 as we welcome the #ReturnOftheLegendaryBrand,” MMPC shared.
It can be recalled that the Ralliart was reintroduced inThailand in 2021, which is currently getting famous for being a stickers-and-accessories pack for Mitsubishi models there.
The Ralliart badging will be seen at the event through the two new special models that will be displayed at the biennial motor show organized by the Chamber of Automobile Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI) at the World Trade Center (WTC).
Based on the teaser video shown, the local distributor could be revealing the Ralliart versions of the Strada (Triton in Thailand), and the Montero Sport (Pajero Sport in the Land of Smiles).
Should the speculation be true, the Philippine market could have the same aesthetic upgrades such as red bumper garnishes and mudflaps; black roof, wheels, and tailgate spoilers; as well as Ralliart decals at the sides.
Since the Ralliart comes as an appearance improvement package, the two models are expected not to have enhancements in terms of performance.
Motor show visitors may see the MMPC’s Ralliart offerings at the company’s booth for the whole four days. Tickets are priced at P200 each, but the first 1,000 ticket buyers will get a 50-percent discount every show day.
