One of Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation’s (MMPC) much-loved crowd, the Club Xpander Philippines (CXP), has celebrated its third-year anniversary.
The club — which has more than 2,600 members and owners of the highly-appreciated multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) offering — is composed of members from all walks of life "and continues to grow and accept business owners, entrepreneurs, families and employees into its fold."
CXP co-founder Jimmy Virador said that the group continued to endure the challenges amid the health and social restrictions imposed since last year.
“Club Xpander Philippines keeps getting stronger and stronger… We continue to keep our group page healthy and our group chats active,” Virador said.
But the group’s camaraderie is not just alive on online chats and mini-eyeball gatherings, as its members also held charity events the past year. “We did relief and outreach operations after typhoon Ulysses hit the provinces of Cagayan and Isabela,” he noted.
The Metro Manila-based club members was able to collect P60,000 worth of food items and pre-loved clothing, while their counterparts in the two abovementioned provinces distributed the collected goods to residents affected by the calamity.
For its part, MMPC said that it has expressed its appreciation to CXP with its “unrelenting support for its activities.”
“More than just our valued customers, members of CXP are some of the best ambassadors we have now for the brand,'' MMPC Assistant Vice President for Sales and Marketing Mark Parulan was quoted as saying.
“We commend the club and its members for their passion and dedication to promote the Mitsubishi Xpander to more people around the country. They see and experience for themselves the true value of the Mitsubishi Xpander. MMPC will continue to support them and their activities as we wish them more power in the years to come,” he added.
The seven-seater model (introduced in May 2018), has already sold 51,762 units as of last October. This model is offered in three variants, the GLX MT, the GLS AT and the Xpander Cross.
