MMDA announces EDSA road repairs this weekend
Portions along Epifanio delos Avenue (EDSA) will undergo reblocking and repairs starting later tonight until early Monday morning, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced.

According to the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, the repairs will start at 11 p.m. Friday and will be completed by 5 a.m. Monday.In an advisory, the agency said that Department of Public Works and Highways will conduct the road repairs on the following locations by 11 p.m. tonight:
- EDSA-Caloocan Southbound in front of A. De Jesus Street (fifth lane from sidewalk)
- EDSA Southbound Quezon City from Panay Avenue, to Mother Ignacia Street (second lane from sidewalk)
- EDSA-Quezon City Northbound along EDSA near Quirino Highway exit
- EDSA-Quezon City Northbound from White Plains to Boni Serrano Road (2nd lane from sidewalk)
- EDSA-Quezon City Northbound after Annapolis St. to before Boni Serrano flyover (second lane from MRT line) after Boni Serrano flyover to before flyover P. Tuazon flyover (second lane from MRT line)
- EDSA-Northbound Ayala Tunnel (Manila Water Restoration activity due to water leak repair)
- EDSA-Pasay City Northbound innermost lane (bus way) E. Rodriguez Street going to C. Jose Street
Since the aforementioned lanes will be fully passable only by 5 a.m. on Monday (March 14), the MMDA encouraged motorists to “take other lanes instead.”
