MMDA to roll out 'Oplan Undas 2024'
To ensure the orderliness for the forthcoming All Saints and All Souls’ Day, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) shall roll out "Oplan Undas 2024".

Numerous personnel from the MMDA-Traffic Discipline Office, Special Operations Group-Strike Force, Metro Parkways Clearing Group, and Road Emergency Group will be deployed for the Oplan Undas 2024.For the said program, the agency will deploy 1,257 personnel who will focus on bus terminals, cemeteries, and major road thoroughfares. The aforementioned manpower will come from the MMDA-Traffic Discipline Office, Special Operations Group-Strike Force, Metro Parkways Clearing Group, and Road Emergency Group.
“We will activate our Oplan Undas 2024 from October 27 to November 4 to ensure a safe observance of remembering our departed loved ones. We will also implement ‘No Day Off, No Absent Policy’ for our traffic personnel,” MMDA Chairman Atty. Romando Artes was quoted as saying.
Further, the MMDA will also extend the shifting of personnel under midnight a day before and after the Undas to increase visibility and to intensify traffic management.
In addition, the MMDA will also send out 12 tow trucks and six ambulances as well as establish help desks and command posts inside bus terminals to provide public assistance and immediately respond to emergencies.
Cleanup operations within the vicinity of cemeteries will be made from October 26 until November 4.
Lastly, traffic situations in the National Capital Region will be monitored round the clock throughout the said period and 30 cameras will also be installed in five major cemeteries in the region namely the Manila North Cemetery, Manila South Cemetery, Bagbag Public Cemetery in Quezon City, Loyola Memorial Park in Marikina, and San Juan Public Cemetery.
