Honda launched the 2022 HR-V last April. The latest iteration of the subcompact crossover offers a mature and macho appeal that’s perfect for the modern-day gentleman. Likewise, its interior boasts modern minimalist vibes that make it a vehicle that rides as good as it looks.
Join us today as we check out what’s inside the new Honda HR-V.
The Honda HR-V offers a clean cabin, literally and figuratively. The buttons, screens, displays, and knobs are all positioned close to the driver. They’re small enough to make the dashboard look large and the interior roomy.
Its interior is also finished mostly in black with only a few trims of chrome here and there.
Those looking to drive home a 2022 Honda HR-V can expect to get pretty decent car tech. These come in the form of the eight-inch touchscreen display audio that’s a standard feature on all models. Similarly, all HR-V variants come with six speakers.
Complementing the infotainment system are either a 4.2-inch or a seven-inch instrument cluster. Both sizes though are fully digital and customizable. Here, owners can view relevant driving information such as warnings, range and fuel, speed and time, maintenance, settings, and safety support.
The 2022 Honda HR-V come with ULT (Utility, Long, and Tall Mode) seats. This means you can fold the rear seats up (tall mode), allowing you to get more floor area; or down (utility mode), to get better cargo space. The front seats can also be folded all the way to the back (long mode), which gives rear passengers first-class-like seats at the back.
Depending on the variant, owners can get ones finished in fabric or in leather. Likewise, the steering wheel can either be urethane or leather depending on the trim level.
Also standard on all variants are rear A/C vents. The range-topping variant adds two USB ports below the rear outlets.
The 2022 Honda HR-V has an interior that’s as sleek as its exterior. It may not have a lot going on but whatever it has is just enough for today’s car buyers looking for a modern and minimalist ride.
Honda Philippines is currently selling the HR-V in two variants: the S CVT Honda Sensing and the V Turbo CVT Honda Sensing. They are priced at P1,250,000 and P1,598,000, respectively.
